Patch 2.1.95 and the August event board dumped three new skins in your face and a dozen returns behind them. Big wikis will write the splash-art recap next week. This is the 24-hour money version: what to tap, what to star, and what to leave on the home screen.
The three new coats are Aulus “Starwake Corsair” (Starlight), Balmond “Vulcan Lionheart” (Collector, first Titan mecha), and Wanwan “Ginkgo's Grace” (Elite, 60 diamonds until ~August 27). Prices below are approximate 2026 event numbers from public shop and patch notes — Moonton can move a sale tomorrow. Rows are already in the Skin Database.
1. Wanwan “Ginkgo's Grace” — tap this if you play her
Elite sticker is 599. The launch flash sale is 60 diamonds. That is 90% off. The worth-it calculator only lights WORTH IT at about 50% off sticker. Sixty diamonds is not a debate. It is a receipt.
Buy it if Wanwan is a comfort gold-lane or a weekend flex. Skip it if you have never locked her and you will not. A cheap Elite on a bench is still a bench. The sale window is roughly August 14–27. After that she returns to 599 and becomes another “wait for 50%” row.
If you only have 60 diamonds this week, this is the purchase. Not ten All-Star singles. Not a Jujutsu Kaisen curiosity pull. Sixty diamonds is a finished skin. Crests are not.
2. Aulus “Starwake Corsair” — Starlight if you will log in
August’s pass skin is a pirate Aulus. Treat the month as about 300 diamonds or $4.99, same as every other Starlight on this site. You also get the chore track, extra tickets, and the shop rotation that includes returns like Phoveus “Matrix Maverick.”
Buy the pass if you will play four days a week. Aulus mains should feel called out in a good way. If you will vanish after one ranked night, skip — a pass you do not finish is a costume rental. Do not cancel Starlight to fund Balmond draws. That swap is how you end August with neither a Titan nor a corsair.
Painted tints on the pass (Buccaneer / Reaver in the teasers) are optional. The base skin plus the month of tickets is the product. The extra 100 diamonds for a recolor is a vibe tax. Pay it only after the pass is already bought.
3. Balmond “Vulcan Lionheart” — this week’s overpriced trap
New Collector. First entry in a Titan mecha line. Exquisite Collection from August 1, with a 30% first 10x (350 diamonds) and a daily first single at 25. Those discounts are bait for the first ten pulls. The skin still sits behind the exchange — plan for about 105–125 draws, or a 2,000–3,500 diamond community budget if a cheap mode is live.
Open the gacha pity calculator before you tap. If you are under 70% of that pile, the site will say skip or save. Believe the red badge. A half-finished Titan is a spray called crests. Returning Collectors in the same event (Valentina, Natan, Cecilion, Silvanna) are not a reason to start a second exchange.
This is also the coat we wrote the Shorts script about. If your squad is clipping the trailer, send them the calculator instead of a fire emoji.
Free board: Rank Party and Lucky Flip
Gloo “Abominable Snowman,” Kadita “Anthem of the Tides,” and Hanabi’s Golden Month pick (Neonscape Icon in the pool) are chore skins. Spend login coins, not diamonds. Lucky Flip from August 21 parks Atlas “Sunken Curse,” Kaja “Inferno Taskmaster,” and Mathilda “Dreambound Pixie” behind a finished board. Partial boards pay nothing. Same honesty as pity: finish or skip.
Jujutsu Kaisen is back August 7–September 11 (Xavier / Yin / Julian / Melissa). Daily first draw at 25 diamonds. The first ten pulls guarantee a collab item, not the featured skin. Pick one main. Four collab coats is four events.
